Etude House Haul 2016| Sneha Arora

Hey Guys

I know I have been long gone (due to xyz reasons) however, I am back and this time not with a written piece but a visual piece. Yes! I have finally started my own YouTube channel and I hope you like my first video that is put up.

It is a haul video because hauls are my favourite thing to watch and I thought this would be the perfect video to start with. Plus, its a haul of my favourite Korean brand 'Etude House' which makes this video even more special to me.

Maybelline, Miss Claire and Revelon: Haul Alert + Mini reviews | Sneha Arora

Hey guys,

So I just went to Beauty Palace to buy some Miss Claire lip creams (which are supposed to be dupes for the NYX ones) but they were out of many shades. 

These creams seem to be really popular❤️

So the shades I bought were:

                                                                       Number 17
                                                      It is a deep chocolate brown colour

                                           And..... I got number 10 which is a brick red colour
 *PS: In the Swatch Number 17 does not look pigmented and deep but on the lip it looks super dark*

As a description of their product, they mention on the packaging that " It's not lipstick, nor is it gloss. It's like nothing you've experienced before. It's lipstick cream that goes on silky but looks soft matte."

--- Perfect description. I love it. You will love it: As a product. Given the price point. <3 <3 <3 ---

Plus I saw the Revlon counter and I always wanted the shade "Mauve It Over". It is a part of their super lustrous lipstick but they were out of stock. So I stumbled upon another shade named "Mad About Mauve" and it looked super pretty that I couldn't resist. I had nothing like that so I thought of buying it. Plus it was on 10% off so why not!

Original Price:
Rs. 550 for 4.2 gms

Discounted Price:
Rs. 495

                            The packaging is sleek and beautiful. Black and Gold: Always a classic!

Then I also saw "The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette" by Maybelline and they were at 10% off so I thought of buying that as well.

Original Price:
Rs. 899 for 9.6 gms

Discounted Price:
Rs. 809

            The palette seems to be very versatile and filled with neutral shades of different finishes.

                                                     Without primer (First impressions)
- Highlight shades are chalky, have fallout and are not pigmented enough to show up on my skintone
- Some beautiful shades like the "Gold" (fourth from right) do not show up well

                                               

                                              With Urban Decay Primer (First Impressions)
- Shades show up and look vibrant however highlight shades are still a disappointment

Hello my loves

I am finally back with a haul post. I've been really busy with work and other things that I would talk about in another blogpost. 

But for now let's enjoy the haul. Later I'll be reviewing each and every product so you'll see swatches and all that good stuff. 

So my Mamu got all these things from Singapore for meeehh and I can't thank him, my mami and my cousin sister (their daughter) enough for all this. 

As soon I received it I was literally jumping like a 2 year old kid. I was so happy and I so thankful for everything. 

So let's begin:

Travel wonder pore kit that includes a soap to cleanse the face, a toner and cream 

* Wonder Pore is Etude House's best seller * 

"Fantastic Color Eyes" Eye shadow palette in "Rose Garden" ----> A very natural looking eye shadow palette. The size of the palette makes it perfect for  traveling. It has a pretty highlight shade right in the front, then it also has an eye shadow topper which is sooooo pretty <3, then it has a bronz-ie metallic shade, a dark coralish red shade, a light pinkish mauve shimmer shade and one warm matte shade that works beautifully as a transition color. These eye shadows are pigmented and are soo beautiful <3

"The Dreaming Swan Collection Veiling Pact" ------> Setting powder that helps in brightening the face

"Precious Mineral Any Cushion refill" in the shade Natural Beige ----> It is still light for my skin tone but it oxides in some time

"Dreaming Swan Any Cushion Case" ----> To put in the refill of the Precious Mineral Any Cushion (because I wanted to be fancy and did not want the regular case)
 

 ------  Dreaming Swan" was a limited collection so I doubt if you can get your hands on these products. However, don't worry because Etude house comes with many limited collection products during Christmas, Summers etc and they never fail to amaze me tbh (PS: I am talking about the packaging because I can only stare at their facebook page for updates but cannot get my hands on them since I stay in India) -------

                                                                                         Play Nail paints  

"Dust cut range" (travel size) which comes with a micro foaming cleanser, a finish cream and a mist that claim to defense your face from pollution.

Their famous face cushion primer called "Magic any cushion" in Peach Magic that helps in brightening the face

The Body Shop Vitamin E Hydrating Toner Review | Sneha Arora

How have you been? Hope you're all doing extremely well.
So today I'll be posting a review on the The Body Shop Vitamin E Hydrating Toner. I've been using this toner everyday in my morning routine for months and months now and I think, I can finally give you my overall view about this product.

The product comes in a packaging like this. Its a baby pink bottle | very girly yet not tacky. It's simple and pleasing to the eye.

It retails for 795 INR and offers 200 ml of product.
Update: The site says its 895 INR right now (I don't know why they hiked up the price tho!) Dang its very expensive for a toner :(

The description on the product itself states that: It is an " Alcohol-free toning liquid with a shot of Vitamin E protection."

     The product dispenses like this.

However, I like to transfer the product to a spray bottle so that I don't have to waste cotton pads and also its quick and feels refreshing.

Does it work?
- Yes it is fab at adding moisture in my skin and the scent is very mild (floral) and pleasant. It also reminds me of a mild smelling Johnson baby oil. 

This toner is meant for dry skinned girls and it thus helps in giving back moisture to the skin (that's why the name 'Hydrating')

Additionally, Vitamin E is known to improve skin hydration so again this toner will definitely suit dry skin peeps.

Also, the colour of the toner is transparent but has a slight pink shade to it (I noticed this when I dispensed the product in the spray bottle thinge)

My experience:
It does live up to all certain claims i.e it is -hydrating
                                                                   - removes dirt (I am unsure about makeup but it doesn't matter because we use a cleanser for that)
                                                                   - skin does feel refreshed, soft, healthy and supple.

Will I repurchase?
Well no.
Because there are many toners out there, in the market that would do the job at a reasonable price. It does not do any other unique-magical stuff to my skin. Other toners could substitute.
Or else
The product is good. Does the job. Lives up to the claims and I have no negatives to say about it product except the price point.
